We have recently returned from a 4 week family holiday to Canada, travelling with our two teenagers, so in this week's episode, I am sharing the process we took to plan this overseas family adventure. Taking our kids to Canada has been on our bucket list for a while, as my husband and I have spent a lot of time backpacking through Canada in our early 20s (our son is even named after one of our favourite towns in Canada.. that's how much we love the country.) 

We have spent time travelling around Australia as a family when the kids were younger, however, we were yet to do a long-haul overseas trip as a family of four! Next week I'll be sharing all the lessons we learned travelling together and travelling with teenagers.. so stay tuned for Part 2!
