Growing up is hard. Growing up in the world of Scientology? That's an entirely different challenge. Join me, your host Claire Headley, as we traverse this uncharted territory with our guest, Miriam Francis. An individual who, like me, was inducted into Scientology's Sea Org as a child, Miriam offers us an intimate glimpse into her journey - the emotional struggles, broken relationships, and a sense of self fighting for survival in an environment that gave precedence to the organization over family.
As children, we were subjected to rigorous training and discipline within the organization. We were made to feel responsible for the workings of a complex entity that, in a bizarre twist, had us instructing adults. This experience, though challenging, was not unique to us.
