On top of the above accolades, Anabelle has sustained a career in diving at the elite level for over 15 years. With here eyes set sharply on the 2024 Paris Olympics it was great to have her on the podcast to hear what her path has been like to this moment, the people that have supported her along the way, the highs, the lows, and the person she has grown into along the way.     In this episode I had the privilege of chatting to Carel Wildenboer, a physiotherapist making a difference and changing people's lives with a holistic and integrative approach to helping clients. Carel dives deep into the moment his approach to physiotherapy changed forever and how he is now using this approach, taught by Douglas Heel, in his practice daily.   • Episode 37. Daniel Beckmann – From a 16% chance of survival to taking on the best in professional golf

    In this episode I had the privilege of chatting to Daniel Beckmann, a professional golfer on the Australian Tour who has been through some extreme lows and highs in his life, with being told he had a 16% chance of survival from a rare form of cancer called T Cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma, being one of them. It was an absolute privilege to chat to Daniel and that he felt comfortable to open up and talk to us all about what he has gone through, and it’s great to hear he is cancer free! From professional golf, to a 9-5 job, to 3 years in a hospital and back to professional golf. We talk about all of this and so much more!

  • Episode 36. Keegan Hipgrave – The heart-breaking decision: The journey from NRL star to medical retirement

    In this episode I had the privilege of chatting to Keegan Hipgrave who played professionally in the NRL for 5 seasons, before having to medically retire from the game he loved at the age of 24. Multiple head knocks and concussions were what forced him out of the game with the last concussion leading to a constant 2 month headache. Since retirement, he has shifted his focus to helping others and is doing that in many ways. One of which through doing disability support work for What Ability. We talk about his time in the NRL, the moment his life changed forever after the passing of his best mate at the age of 17, finding his purpose and passion, the chat with his neurologist about medically retiring from the professional Rugby, and so much more!

    In this episode I had the privilege of chatting to Steven May who is an AFL footballer for the Melbourne Demons, a premiership player for the Demons in 2021, a two time All Australian backman and has played over 200 games in 13 years. It was great to chat about his upbringing in Darwin before making the move to Melbourne to pursue his footy career and try to fulfil his dreams of playing AFL and on the MCG. We talk about his time at the Gold Coast Suns and his time as Co-Captain there. Along with that we cover the triumphs in his career and the tougher times that have helped shape him into the person he is today! We talk about this and so much more!

    In this episode I had the privilege of chatting to Ryan Shelton who along with being a comedian, has been on TV and radio, and is currently a host on The Imperfects podcast with Hugh and Josh Van Cuylenberg. Ryan has been on multiple TV shows in his career such as ‘Thank God You’re Here’ and ‘Rove’ and has a passion for making people laugh. It was while reading the book ‘The Courage To Be Disliked’ that things changed and propelled him onto the growth path he’s on today.     In this episode I had the privilege of chatting to Matt Rowe who is the Author of Belief to Heal, a certified health coach, reiki and meditation practitioner, an all American triathlete in 2007, recovered from both MS and a paralysis in his right leg, runs the identity of health wellness coaching and podcast, and travels internationally to speak on belief, healing and possibility. What a privilege it was to chat to Matt and I am so grateful for his time and the opportunity to meet him.
