Nicole Bitter is a professional ultrarunner for Altra who punched her ticket to Western States this year by getting a Golden Ticket at Bandera 100K. And that was only a few months after running an impressive race at Javelina Jundred 100 miler, coming in third.

Nicole has tons of experience on the Western States course, finishing 6 times prior. And this year, she is looking to really lean into the enjoyment of the race and see what she is capable of.

In this episode, Nicole shares her approach of enjoyment for this year’s Western States race, how she compares this year to prior years, and the impact she’d like this to have on her life and running career.
