Happy Monday! In this episode I talk about the shift...what is the shift you may ask? This is, in my opinion, how I transformed my mindset from being in the ego to becoming more aware of my surroundings and in line with my higher self. In this episode I use two books I've read which have similar view points as well as my own take on this. I feel like this mindset shift and more openness to the world has greatly benefited my outlook and perspective on life.
books mentioned:
The Shift: How to Take Your Life From Ambition to Meaning by Dr. Wayne Dyer
You Are a Badass: How to Stop Doubting Your Greatness and Start Living an Awesome Life by Jen Sincero
I feel like when watching fitness influencers, everyone sees the end product, the peak physical body...but we never see the come-up. There's is an initial confidence gain and hump one must go over when starting to workout, especially in the gym. In this episode, I talk about my personal battle with movement in fitness and how pushing myself so much eventually led to a downfall of injuries. We also discuss things like the comparison trap or how much eating impacts your results as well. It's all a mind, body, and spirit connection. I hope you enjoy, and I'm sending you some healing energies to find your way and incorporate movement into your routines <3
As I have redownloaded the app ~once again~ I have noticed myself spending hours a day just mindlessly scrolling on social media. I couldn't even tell you the last three videos I watched because they just leave my mind so fast. In this episode, I talk specifically about physiologically why we are so addicted to TikTok. I am on a journey to become more of a producer than a consumer, but the process is hard. Breaking an old bad habit is hard, but in the long run the delayed gratification is worth it:) Be more mindful of what you consume, We got this homie <3
Worth watching; Social Dilemma Documentary
Hiya qt, in this episode I go over some red flags I have dealt with in toxic friendships, which I am sure you can relate to. It is important to know when to cut something off that is harming your energy. I hope this video makes you more self aware, and confident to know what you need in this life. Remember , YOU come first, stop letting people walk all over you and disrespect you. Put the message out to the universe that you deserve good energy and good, high vibe people. Let it hurt, then let it go.
The last part is from the Youtube Channel : Wizard Liz "Realizing these things will change your life" 29:18
New year, New you, New boo. Let's cut to it. STOP GOING BACK TO THEM, much easier said than done I KNOW. This can apply to relationships, situationships, friends, family, work, basically any sort of toxic person in your life. This self sabotaging behavior typically stems from low self esteem, which trust me, this was not caused by you and we have all been there. Through staying grounded, establishing boundaries, caring for yourself and many more tips in this episode, you will learn to let go and help yourself, or maybe share this advice to a friend who needs it. 2022 made me realize that no matter where I am or what I do, I have myself at the end of the day ... so let's enter this 2023 on a high note.
Happy Monday after xmas y'all :) While you're enjoying this holiday season, your 2023 new years goals are probably lurking around the corner. After the jolly season concludes, many of us strive to be our best selves in 2023. We start making vision boards, setting unrealistic goals, becoming gym rats...but all so fast so soon often leads to burnout. As 2023 approaches, it is important to understand what toxic productivity is. Do you suffer from it? Chances are you know about this concept, whether it's from your 9-5, running your own company, or maybe academic validation. In this episode I talk about:
-what is toxic productivity (hustle-grind culture)
-signs and symptoms of toxic productivity
-how to heal from it
-my story and how I continue to deal with this concept
we have all felt heartbreak at one point or another in our lives. In my opinion, it is harder to mourn the death of a living person as oppose to a dead person because there is still that glimmer of hope they will contact you. Use heartbreak as your super power to level up your life. See this relationship ending as a blessing and feel your emotions. The universe works in mysterious ways, and this is just clearing the path for you to learn and love yourself even more.
"you won't notice the process of healing. One day you just realize that you haven't cried in a while."
keep pushing, we are all rooting for you <3
Hiya, in this episode I am talking about the seven spiritual laws of success, based off the book by Deepak Chopra. It's amazing once you realize that success isn't just hard work, it's about understanding human nature. The same laws that nature uses to build a forest or a human body, can also bring fulfillment of our deepest desires. I have started to implement these into my life and you should too!
The Law of Pure Potentiality
The Law of Giving and Receiving
The Law of Karma
The Law of Least Effort
The Law of Intention and Desire
The Law of Detachment
The Law of Dharma
We will all probably go through this once in our lives. Questioning your purpose, why you are here, what's going on. In this episode I tell you about my current personal struggles, and also give some tips on what I am doing to help me reground myself. Hope it helps, we are in this together
This topic is something very near and dear to my heart. If you listen all the way to the end, just know I deeply appreciate you. I know this concept is hard for some people to understand, since it is undoing what we have been told by society our whole lives. In this episode I talk about
-the negative connotation around "being vegan"
-the difference between Pescatarians, Vegetarians, Vegans, and Raw Vegans
-my personal story and transition into veganism
-4 reasons why I went/continue to stay vegan
-fun ways to cook and meal prep/ learn different cultures of food
-my vitamins / protein intakes
