I'm trying something new here. There are some topics that I would love to discuss, but don't feel like I have enough solid experience to speak on it all on my own. That's where you all come in! I'm inviting you to submit your stories about these topics. I will select some and read them on the podcast (all submissions will be kept anonymous!). As I said, this is a trial format. If it works well and you guys like these episodes, then I will do them once a month! Let's see how it goes :-)

If you have struggled with any type of addiction and feel like your neurodivergence has contributed to that experience in some way, I would love to hear about it. What is the opposite of task avoidance? Because I think I have that. I love a nice list of tasks...when I have time to complete them all. When I don't, that's when things start to spiral and the overwhelm kicks in.

I'm hopping on a plane later this week and that got me thinking about the ups and downs of traveling as an autistic person. Today I'm talking about my experience with travel and what makes the it more (or less) stressful for me personally, and how I cope the most daunting task of all: leaving the comfortable safe bubble of my home for an extended period of time.
