We are entirely responsible for our emotions. In fact, our feelings and behaviors are the only aspects of life we can fully control. However, in order for that to be true, we must detach ourselves from expecting, supposing, and assuming. By following this practice and trying not to make assumptions we find emotional freedom. But aren’t assumptions the way we respond to the world?

The way we deal with everything is derived from our emotional responses, which happen to be derived from our emotional past. To choose how to respond to situations is to have emotional freedom, but emotional mature choices only come from emotional mature minds.
