“Blackfish” put the sea park industry in the spotlight for inhumane living conditions and threats to both humans and killer whales when the animals are forced to live in captivity. Five years later, a group in Russia has been busted for keeping over 100 orcas and belugas in “whale jail” for several months to attempt and sell the animals to theme parks. The danger doesn't end when the animals are released.
