If you've ever said: "I'll start tomorrow" "I need to eat all of this now because tomorrow it's back to the diet" "I'll get back on track on Monday" This tells me you're someone who struggles with the "all-or-nothing" mindset. Unfortunately, when you have this thought pattern, it makes consistency nearly impossible to achieve. And consistency is essential for success. Logically, you know you shouldn't be doing this, but you do it anyway. WHY does this happen and what to do about it? What do you think? Check out today's conversation with Coach Steph Miramontes to hear our best action strategies you can begin implementing right now.

A couple weeks ago, I flew to San Antonio to meet with Coach Steph Miramontes for some projects we're working on. While there, she and her wonderful husband, Nefi, took me out to a fabulous 12-course dinner. And let me tell you, it was an experience to remember!
In the past, this is exactly the type of dining situation that would have paralyzed me. I would have felt anxious about not being able to look up the menu ahead of time, feared losing control on high calorie foods, and terrified of gaining weight. But now? I was sooo excited! After years of failed dieting attempts, there is enjoyment, pleasure, and fun in eating again. And do you know what happened? Over 3 hours later, I walked out of that restaurant so grateful for being in a place where my relationship with food is no longer one based in fear and discomfort. Being able to walk out of a 12-course meal feeling completely in control -- because I was working WITH my body instead of trying to force it -- is exactly what we talked about during today's podcast. We both share the evolution of restaurant dining and the steps we've taken to developing the mindset and eating habits of a "naturally thin" person. If you struggle to manage your food intake while dining in restaurants or at social events, this is the episode for you. This week marks the beginning of several weeks of holidays. That means parties, family gatherings, and lots of food. Thanksgiving is all about being grateful for what we have, who we are connected to in our lives. But too often, for most, it's all about the food. The turkey. The stuffing. The pies. The side dishes. Need I go on? You don't have to go to your holiday meals carrying a small Tupperware container with veggies and cottage cheese. That's old school, right? You are here to live your life and that includes enjoying good food. But that doesn't have to mean that you leave this holiday being as stuffed as the turkey. I want you to feel excited going into this holiday, not dreading it. So today, on the Fat Murder Podcast, co-coach, Steph Miramontes and I talk about dealing with this holiday season in a way that allows for pleasure, but still leaves you in charge of what you do, how you eat and how you feel. I'm going to show you how to think about going into these celebrations, what to do, and how to create an occasion for yourself that you can look back at and feel proud. Proud of yourself for keeping your word to yourself, AND still enjoying all of the food. What do you love most about the holiday season? I'd love to hear about it.

In this week's episode of the Fat Murder Podcast, Coach Steph Miramontes joins me as we unpack the BIGGEST mistake that you're making...and you don't even know it. It's subtle, but it's absolutely catastrophic to your goals. Any idea what it may be?
If our thoughts are responsible for our feelings and our feelings are what drive our actions, then our efforts are best spend on managing our MIND, not our ACTIONS. But this is where the diet and fitness industries want you to spend your time. And it's also why you may be feeling frustrated at your lack of results.
Today, you don't want to miss this conversation as we dive into this topic and help you better understand the psychological tools you need for success. I hope you'll join us!

In today's episode of the Fat Murder Podcast, co-coach, Steph Miramontes, and I discuss why right now is the perfect time to master holiday eating. Typically, this is the time of year when dieters begin skipping their workouts and breaking more of their food rules. After all, it's the holidays and no one wants to feel restrained to bland foods during a festive time of year, do they? But what if you could have both? What if you didn't need to make a decision at all? What if you were able to eat exactly what you wanted in the amounts that your body wanted it without any struggle at all? This is completely possible. Not-only have I lived this transformation myself, but I witness it in hundreds of clients every day and you can become this person, too. In today's episode, you'll learn that with the holidays among us, there is no better time to practice these new skills than right now. More social gatherings, more eating obstacles, more alcohol, etc. all mean more opportunities to understand your behavior and what triggers you to eat more (or less) than you're comfortable with. If you're sick of waking up every January 1st with same sad resolution to "do better" this year, you don't want to miss this episode. Whether it's eating a whole bag of chips in front of the TV, or the entire tub of ice cream when you're feeling sad, everyone overeats from time to time.
And while occasionally eating more than your body needs is totally normal, it can still feel physically uncomfortable and trigger feelings of guilt and regret. In today's episode of the Fat Murder Podcast, co-coach, Steph Miramontes, and I discuss 6 specific reasons why people overeat and what you can do about it. To understand your behavior so you can break the cycle, you need to figure out your own emotional triggers. Don't miss out on today's episode so you can bring the habit of using food as an emotional crutch to an end. When you can do this, you'll not only lose the diet struggle, but you'll be able to drop the weight, too. Connect with Leslie:

Most often people get confused about what boundaries are and what they are not. In this episode, I invited co-coach, Laura Kalirai, to help set the record straight by looking at the differences between this amazing tool for creating intimacy and simply setting expectations for other people. Boundaries are never easy to establish, but avoiding them is doing you and your relationships a disservice. In this episode you'll learn:

This episode is dedicated to the Unstuffed fence sitters. (Learn more HERE) We're opening the doors to new clients tomorrow! Coaches Steph Miramontes and Laura Kalirai join me on this week's episode of the Fat Murder Podcast to talk about the program and everything we've learned over the years. Both from a client's perspective (Laura) and from the angle of a coach and program developer. In this episode, I put it all on the table. Why some people have a mindset for success and why some will never achieve their dreams. What the most common barriers are and how we're our own worst enemies. Why we self-sabotage and what you can do, today, to get unstuck. The reality is, if you want to cultivate change in your life, you're going to have to have the courage to invest in yourself — not just financially, but through time and effort. The fastest way to accelerate results is to have a plan and someone to hold you accountable to the plan. The magic of Unstuffed is that we've created something where people get results. Give this episode a listen. Who knows, you might learn something that changes your life.
