Whilst leading a successful Brand Comms agency, Torstar for nearly 20years, Tory Archbold had a pivotal moment. She’d had a near death experience and found herself standing in a courtroom representing herself after 10 years of being aggressively stalked by an ex. After winning the case she knew her life would never be the same again. She wanted a life with more purpose. It was time to reshape her story.

After twenty years of being ‘behind the scenes’ as one of Australia’s most powerful publicists, working with top name brands and celebrities like Drew Barrymore, Megan Gale, Zara, Nespresso and Victoria’s Secret, Tory felt it was time to step forward and own her own story. She used this momentum and founded Powerful Steps in 2019 – a platform designed to inspire, encourage and guide women through the different challenges of life.

Tory is a gorgeous human and is passionate about sharing her learnings and knowledge to mentor and empower others. As someone who has taken a few years to truly own my own story and step into the power of that, I was super excited to talk to Tory and pick her brains a little.
