In episode 68 of the Pacey Performance Podcast I am speaking to Allistair McCaw who most recently known for his work in Tennis with Kevin Anderson. But looking at his CV (Here) you can see that he has working with some of the top athletes in the world in sports such as cricket, football, squash and tennis. The reason Allistair's story and expertise really interest me is that he has been a 'consultant' all his career. This led us to discuss many things off air including marketing, advertising and everything in between. Also as an athlete Allistair has so much experience and I believe that he is successful not only because of his knowledge and experience but because of his hugely broad skill set, something we all should take note of.

In episode 67 I talk with Gil Blander. Now, Gil is the founder and Chief Scientific Officer of Inside Tracker which is a company which provides science-based blood analytics to athletes and the general population. In the episode Gil takes us through the journey of why blood is such an important marker for not only performance but for general health and well being. Inside Tracker has been mentioned a few times on the podcast, firstly by Carl Valle and then by Bruce Williams so it made sense to see what all the fuss was about and take this podcast episode in a slightly different direction.

In episode 65 of the Pacey Performance Podcast I talk to strength and conditioning coach for England 7's, Dan Howells. Dan made an appearance in episode 31 alongside Sam Portland and Tom Farrow discussing all things rugby, so it was great to get Dan on a solo episode. In this episode of the Pacey Performance Podcast I have the unbelievable pleasure of speaking with Joel Jaimeson. Joel has been the 'go-to guy' when it comes to conditioning for a number of years now. As soon as I read his book, Ultimate MMA Conditioning, I knew I had to get him on the podcast. I would recommend the book to anyone, whether they're involved in combat sports or team sports, there are so many transferable principles in the book.

In this episode of the podcast I am talking to Tyler Goodale who is head of sports science for the Canadian women's 7's. Tyler's name had come up a few times when I had been talking to people after podcast episodes and when Chris Tombs and Ian McKeown both say that Tyler is worth speaking to, I am all ears. Tyler is such a nice guy and working at the Canadian Institute of Sport, he is doing really good work.

This episode of the Pacey Performance Podcast sees me speaking with a good friend of mine and fellow Yorkshireman, Luke Jenkinson. Luke is doing some great work at one of the most renowned football academies in the UK in Sheffield United. Players such as Kyle Walker, Kyle Naughton, Phil Jagielka and more recently Jordan Slew all going through the gates at Sheffield United. Luke has a great outlook on player development and its always a pleasure to hear his enthusiasm about his role and how he can have an impact on young players, not only in a football capacity, but also as young men.

So this episode of the podcast goes in a slightly different direction with Bruce Williams. So Bruce is a podiatrist with extensive experience of working with professional athletes, specifically basketball. Bruce is a past president of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine (AAPSM) and also consults with teams and individuals. Bruce was such a great guest to have on and to have a guy on with his expertise and background in a very interesting area was amazing.
