If someone has trouble breathing when they exercise hard, they must have exercise-induced asthma, right? Well, it could also be something called exercise induced laryngeal obstruction or EILO. It’s not very well known, but pulmonologist Tod Olin estimates that one-third of people who are diagnosed with asthma actually have EILO or both asthma and this condition.
