In this episode, we’re diving deep (literally and figuratively!) into one of the most important yet often misunderstood parts of our bodies: the pelvic floor. Joining us is the incredible Dr. Allison Oswald, a pelvic health specialist who helps women reconnect to their bodies through every stage of pregnancy, birth, and beyond.
We unpack what the pelvic floor actually is, why it deserves your attention (hint: it does way more than just hold things in place), and how to support and strengthen it through mindful movement, breathwork, and awareness. We also talk about healing after birth, physically, emotionally, and spiritually, including ways to process and care for yourself after birth trauma.
This episode couldn’t have come at a better time it was recorded it just days before Teresa gave birth, and she ended up using many of Dr. Oswald’s techniques during her own postpartum recovery!
