Newly married, 28 years old, and diagnosed with a “uniformly fatal” form of leukemia, Glenn Sabin, did an experiment on himself when given six months to live.  That was over 30 years ago!  Although randomized, controlled clinical trials with a large N number (the number of participants) is the gold standard of evidence-based medicine, individual outcomes are all that really matter. Glenn named his fascinating and inspiring book “n of 1” because every person is unique.  His goal was to be the most inhospitable host possible for cancer.  Glenn’s story of courage, curiosity and unparalleled determination will give every listener renewed hope.
