Blake graduated from the Air Force Academy in 1995 and obtained his Master of Public Administration from Troy University in 1999. He has over 23 years of Supply Chain, logistics and transportation experience in multiple industries, both public and private.

Blake has managed supply chain for the US Air Force, Navy and Army, NASA, Department of State and Department of Interior. He has also managed and operated supply chains for Harley-Davidson Motor Company, Woods Equipment Company and Vanderlande.
