Something we see over and over again - with not only with our Web Designer Academy students before working with us but also just across the board with web designers is that once you get over that initial hump of learning how to get clients, you start saying YES to everything and everyone because a) you want to make enough money, and b) you want to keep the money coming in consistently.

So any time a new project or client comes your way, you say YES, and you start working on it immediately. You just fit it in wherever and whenever.

…and then you get massively overwhelmed, burnt to a crisp, have the realization that what you’re doing isn’t sustainable and want to burn it all down or stop doing services and sell templates because you think that’s gonna be easier bc there’s no people involved (which is a total myth, it’s just a different kind of challenge and that’s a topic for another time).
