• When a property stands empty, it is costing you money. Make sure the properties in your portfolio are all assets and not liabilities!
• Sometimes work needs to be done to a property before you can move people in. Be as quick as you can, and remember to advertise the property as soon as you are able.
• Before you rent out the property, always check the supply and demand in the area, and adjust the rent accordingly. Perhaps you can charge more per month, and haven't realised?
• Keep on top of maintenance and other issues that may turn people off. Remember that this is your investment, and it pays to keep your tenants happy.
