Chad M. Kerksick, PhD, is currently an Associate Professor of Exercise Science and serves as the Director of the Exercise and Performance Nutrition Laboratory and an Assistant Dean for Research & Innovation in the College of Science, Technology, and Health at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO. He received his PhD in Exercise, Nutrition, and Preventive Health from Baylor University and is recognized as an academic fellow of the National Strength and Conditioning Association, International Society of Sports Nutrition, and American College of Sports Medicine and serves as a Vice President of the International Society of Sports Nutrition. He has written two books covering sports nutrition topics and has published over 120 peer-reviewed scientific articles. His primary research interests involve the intersection between exercise and nutrition on health, performance, and recovery.
