Let’s talk about the four types of goals that we recommend you add to your plan. We get a lot of moms who come to us and have way too many goals and they don't know how to narrow it down. So today we are going to dive into the tips on how to do that! Starting with the different types of goals that you are working on. It will help you achieve your goals once you know what goal you are working with! ➡️ Goal number one is a numerical bull, which is a long-term goal but so easy to set up and slowly work your way through. ➡️ Goal two is what we like to call a project-based goal. These are short-term goals that you focus on to get the work done i.e. writing a book. ➡️ Goal three is a middle-of-the-road goal that is a routine or a habit-based goal … this one is vital to support your other goals. ➡️ The fourth type of goal we are going to encourage you to have is a learning goal. These are the fun goals. Create your learning goal for the month so you continue to grow as a mom!

“Just pick your priorities.”
“You’re just not prioritizing well.” “If it was really important to you, you’d prioritize time for it.” “We all have the same twenty-four hours.” Maybe you’ve heard some iteration of those phrases in your life. I mean clearly, your problem with productivity is a priority one, right? Maybe not. For a long time, I believed all of these statements. I thought that if I wasn’t being productive or achieving my goals, it was my fault because I didn’t prioritize well. And over the past few years, I’ve realized the problem with the way that we’ve been taught to look at our priorities. Listen in on today's episode for the rest of Chapter 2 of the "15 Minute Formula" Book by yours truly .... Cara Harvey! The 15 Minute Formula Book by: Cara Harvey https://apurposedrivenmom.com/book A PURPOSE DRIVEN MOM SHOW NOTES: apurposedrivenmom.com/podcast195/How can you manage your time as a busy mom? How can you work on your dreams when the mountain of laundry is calling your name and the kids are home from school because of covid again!? Today we are talking about how to manage your time using the power pockets method. As well as, the microwave minute. I know that time management feels challenging as a busy mom and that’s because most of the time our days are unpredictable, like our kids. Cara was one of those people that used to schedule in her day hour-by-hour — until she had kids that is! How can you use those tiny minute chunks throughout the day and maximize them? Because sometimes that’s all that we get as a busy mom — those tiny chunks. Power pockets are a different way to look at your schedule. It does require one hard thing though, and that is ditching the mindset of perfection in our schedule. Ditching the: “I can’t work on this goal until my kids are older” thoughts. Let’s map out your power pockets strategically today!

As we kick off the start of the year, I want to kick off a framework for goal setting 101! With the new book coming out on Jan 23rd, The 15 Minutes Formula, we felt like now would be a great time to go over the basics of goal setting and the 5 “must-have” steps in order to set yourself up for success. There are 5 pillars of goal setting, and when you complete all 5, you will have a great grasp on what is needed in order to crush your goals. So think of one of your particular goals as you listen through this episode, and put your goal through each of these steps, one at a time. So many people when they set their goals to go through the first couple steps naturally, then stop there. They are missing the complete picture and the last few steps making it a huge goal struggle. The Purpose Driven Mom Club offers the framework, the walkthrough, the accountability, and the coaching that is around these 5 pillars of goal setting … we love to ask these questions: What did you work on this week? What are your successes? What are any places you are struggling in? How did your progress go for your goals from last week? When you plan your next goal with these 5 pillars in mind, you are setting yourself up for success and that is how you complete your goals.
