My guest today is none other than Karen James (or KJ to most that know her). We met years ago when she headed up Comm Banks Women in Focus program - an incredible initiative that she also founded. KJ is renown for her big picture thinking and strategic mind and has a 30-year background in engineering, banking, IT, consulting and change management.

Karen is now the CEO and Acting Asia Pacific Director for Buisness in Development, a global NGO whose goal is to use inclusive business approaches to address poverty and help achieve sustainable and profitable outcomes. 

Karen has worked across Europe and Asia and has a Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Science (Electrical Engineering) from the University of Hartford.

Karen is also an author and her book On Purpose is a modern-day business book for people who want to steer their work back on course, with purpose leading the way.
