Too much regulation and innovation is snuffed out - too little, and people lose money. Still, when it's central planners and incumbents who ultimately are driving the push towards MORE regulation....well forgive my cynism.

Personally, I want to be certain that in some parts of the playground, when investing, things are transparent and I get what's advertised on the tin. In other areas, especially those that are new - well we should let the fools be separated by their money no? It's this activity that brings change, which ultimately leads to better outcomes for consumers.
