When it comes to getting to know someone, naturally you want to see all of their best qualities out on display but truthfully, that’s slightly unrealistic. Revealing comes with trust but there are so many ways to find out if you like someone without having to get in their business, or get too personal. It’s called PAYING ATTENTION. This could be on social media, in group settings, even simply watching the way they communicate with friends. Societal based norms say the man should always take lead but in this day and age, women should be showing these men how they’re coming as well! Is she applying pressure and putting forth effort? Can she afford to play the date game? Knowing yourself means you have to be willing to accept that what you need is much more important. Do you truly know yourself? Do you know your triggers? The things that turn you off? On? The failed relationship is the missed shot and the person going for thw rebound is the unhealed individual who is trying to move on too fast! We all know somebody, maybe even ourselves, who has tried to move on in order to “help them heal,” but is it helpful or harmful to the healing process? Can it even bring more trauma?
