Dr. Anita Johnston, Ph.D., CEDS is a clinical psychologist and certified eating disorder specialist and supervisor, working in the field of women’s issues and eating disorders for over 35 years.

In keeping with the theme of this season, we speak at length about the power that comes from connecting with your authentic self. This episode is a must-listen and one that I was absolutely captivated by. I left it feeling so empowered and inspired, which I hope you will too after listening.

  • The role of authenticity in healing disordered eating

  • The difference between belonging and fitting in

  • How to begin reconnecting with your authentic self

  • The power of metaphor and storytelling in recovery from disordered eating
