Lately, I have seen more and more conversations pop up around what exactly is Intuitive Eating? I get asked a lot of questions in my sessions of is Intuitive Eating just another diet?
Food can often be experienced as either powerful medicine, where specific foods are recommended to consume, and foods are made to be "good" or "bad" OR food is entirely neutral and there is a striving to strip food of any label whatsoever to experience more peace around eating and that any food could be healthy and beneficial to consume. This can make Intuitive Eating incredibly confusing.
In this week’s episode, I explore how both strategies can be beneficial and how I personally define what Intuitive Eating can be.
