Sean Torta (I: @sean_torta) is the Head Stockman at Delamere Station, a property owned by Australian Agricultural Company, or AACo. Although he was originally from metropolitan Queensland, Sean was introduced to agriculture through school holidays on his cousin’s farm. He bumped around trying a few different things, before throwing everything in the back of the car and deciding to pursue the itch of being in the North. Starting out his journey as a ringer, he’s worked his way up through the ranks to position today. Sean is passionate about the northern territory and all it has to offer. And this year, his passion has seen him be selected for the Georgina Pastoral Future NTCA program, which he talks about in this episode.
