It was the day before national lockdown 2.0 and I just had to get this recording in face to face! Kate Halfpenny is the founder and designer behind the British label and bridal brand Halfpenny London. Not only did she design my wedding dress (!!) but she has dressed some of the biggest names in the industry from Rihanna to Kate Moss, Erin O’Connor to Emilia Fox!

Kate opens up about what a difficult time it’s been for the wedding industry this year; but don’t fret brides-to-be – she has been designing new collections all year!

Aside from ogling over her stunning pieces in her Central London boutique, she discusses her upbringing in Derbyshire, her massively foodie family and her beautiful new outdoor pizza oven! She is just as big a crisps fanatic as me, and I cannot wait to get down to her stunning house in Kent to have lunch with her and the family whenever humanly possible!
