At just 7 years old Chantelle was sexually assaulted by her neighbour and someone that she trusted. In that moment her life was changed forever and her innocence ripped away. 

In this episode we discuss the life altering event, how this has affected her moving forward throughout her life as a child, teenager and adult and then as a Mother. 

We speak about the fears this has caused her for her own children and the intense anxiety and caution she has for their safety in everyday situations. 

Finally Chantelle shares her experience re-opening the case against her perpetrator, the shame and stigmas surrounding sexual assault and the lack of justice in this circumstance that is just devastating and heartbreaking 💔
