(english episode) Shirin calls Pia Norup. She is a danish doctor (pMd), a certified functional medicine practitioner, health advisor, lecturer and tv-host. She is the founder of Roots Clinic in Copenhagen, and also the author of many books. The most resent one is called "never more tired". We talk about the different kind of tiredness and how to optimize our health. Pia divide the different tiredness in mental, physical, brain fatigue, emotional and lifestyle oriented. What can we do to prevent illness, but foremost in this episode, we talk about lifestyle changes, why we get tired and how we can recover better. Pia explains what BDNF is, as well as the MITO diet. And offcourse we dive in to Pias morning routines and yoga. She has pictures by her bedside that makes her happy. She works out twice daily, with kettlebells, yoga, trx and running.
