We are quickly racing through the month of May, and remember, next week is the finale of American Idol "BBQ Central Show" Edition so be sure to tune in for the first (and last) round of live singing! It is sure to peel the paint and crack the glass off your walls and windows.

Anyway, leading off the 3rd Tuesday of the month is the creator of the Barbecue Bible and the most prolific BBQ book writer of all time, Steven Raichlen. Steven has been picked as the HPBA "Why I grill" ambassador so we will talk to him about that. We will also close the 2 items that were left open from last month which were A5 brisket bacon and also when the term "bacon" was originally seen in print and how it was originally defined!

After Steven, Robyn Lindars from the Grill Girl website will join me to talk about her new venture with Kingsford and Masterbuilt grills. She will be doing some kind of social media takeover/recipe creation with these 2 companies and she will tell us what we can expect later in the week. We can also talk to her about her thoughts on that Masterbuilt 560 GF cooker. Meathead gave us his thoughts last week so it will be interesting to see what Robyn thinks. I will also ask her about the Hall of Fame list and who she would vote in if given the chance!
