Narcissists can be the cruelest and rudest people you'll ever meet, and that's especially true when you've been involved with one in an intimate or family relationship.

But the harm they cause is far more pervasive than any other type of abuse because you can't always see the scars - often, the narcissist's emotional abuse lives on in victims long after the relationship ends.
