Torm er skudt op med 600 pct. – succesfuld investor ser fortsat kurspotentiale

Alt fra investorer, til økonomer og boligejere krydser i øjeblikket fingrene for, at renten endeligt snart skal ned igen. 6. juni er der lagt op til den første rentesænkning fra ECB, vurderer flere økonomer. Men hvad får det af betydning for dig og din privatøkonomi, og hvor langt skal renten ned?
Børsens journalist Nicolai Bøttkjær har i denne særudgave af Børsen Investorpodcast, inviteret et kompetent panel af gæster i studiet for at diskutere alt fra faldende boligrenter til risikoen for en ny inflationsbølge.

Særudgave: Rentegyser venter - hvad gør og siger ECB den 6. juni?

”GN er en af de aktier, vi har været short i og tjent godt på”. Sådan lyder det fra Andreas Aaen, stifter af investeringsfonden Symmetri, i Investor Podcasten. 
Symmetry fonden forvalter 750 mio. kr. for 250 kunder og fokus er small- og midcap segmentet. Fonden har siden oprettelsen haft et gennemsnitligt årlig afkast på 18,3 pct. mod MSCI EU small cap på 6,5 pct.
”Vi har været short i GN to gange. Første gang, da de lige havde købt Steelseries for 8 mia kr og stiftede alt for meget gæld. Da shortede vi aktien og tjente 30-40 pct. Anden gang var i år, hvor vi så har tabt 5-10 pct. fordi regnskabet kom ud bedre end forventet og nu er shortcasen for mit vedkommende død,” siger Andreas Aaen, der har lært, at han ikke skal tale om de aktier han aktuelt er short i.
”Det er bedre at gå stille med dørene. Folk bliver sure og irriterede. Folk mener, det er onde hyæner, der ødelægger aktierne. Vi har hele tiden noget vi er shortet i, men vi meget mere lang end vi er short. Normalt 100 pct. lang og så afdækker vi en 40-50 pct. på short positioner,” siger Andreas Aaen.
Shorting vil sige, at man låner en aktie, som man sælger, og derefter håber at kunne købe tilbage til en lavere kurs.
”Jeg synes det er helt misforstået at male et billede af, at dem, der shorter er mørkets fyrster, og at de ødelægger markedet. Man skal huske, at når man shorter noget, der er kommet for højt op, er man faktisk med til at tage toppen af en kursudvikling, ” lyder det fra Børsens investor redaktør, Simon Kirketerp i podcasten.
Lars Hytting, aktiechef i Artha har som privatinvestor prøvet at shorte Tesla aktien.
”Jeg shortede aktien en fredag med gearing. Jeg lå søvnløs en hel weekend og så solgte jeg om mandagen igen og måtte tage tabet. Det passede ikke ind i min risikoprofil. Men hvis jeg havde bevaret min short, havde jeg da været på Babados nu,” siger Lars Hytting, der oplyser, at Artha har en politik om ikke at shorte.

Investor har afkast på 18 pct. årligt – shorting er del af strategien

Novo Nordisk-aktien løber derud af og ramte tirsdag højeste lukkekurs nogensinde. Og nu taler Novo Nordisk-topledelse om nærmest uendelige salgsmuligheder.
”At få lov at være med til, at varemærkerne nærmest bliver trukket ud af hænderne på os, og efterspørgslen nærmest er uendelig, er utrolig,” sagde Henrik Wulff koncerndirektør med ansvar for produktion i Novo Nordisk tirsdag på en pressebriefing.
Aktien har de seneste år sat rekord på rekord, og alene det seneste år er aktien oppe med 60 pct. Novo Nordisk-investorerne Peter Bækgaard og Johnny Madsen er derfor i studiet i Børsen Investor Podcast for at give en frisk vurdering på aktien. Hvor meget kan den egentlig stige herfra?
”Ingen tvivl om, at det er en kanon væksthistorie, de står second to none. Mulighederne er der, man skal passe på kun at bygge det ind i aktien, som man kun lige kan se,” siger Johnny Madsen, Forume- og Investeringspleje, og holder fast i en pæn overvægt af Novo Nordisk
”På kort sigt, kunne jeg godt være en lille smule bekymret for gennemførelsen af deres Catalent opkøb, som er de fabrikker, der kan øge deres produktion. Nu skal det først godkendes af de amerikanske myndigheder. Det kan godt sætte sig i kursen en lille smule, ” siger privat investor Peter Bækgaard.
