Niva Retimanu is a very familiar name to radio listeners in New Zealand.

Hailing from Invercargill the Newstalk ZB newsreader has won almost too many radio awards to count!

She has over thirty years experience as a journalist and newsreader.

Niva is a marathon runner and an author as well - her book 'Leading From Behind' was published in 2016.

Her latest venture is co-hosting a NZ Herald podcast, Straight Up, alongside former Olympian Beatrice Faumuina.

Niva Retimanu joined Jame Daniels and Tyler Adams (in for Simon Barnett for this week's Six And A Song.
