When was the first time you were trusted to do a big task all on your own? Maybe it was babysitting, completing an important chore, or going to the store all by yourself? You probably felt honored and proud that you were trusted with such a great task. After all, it always feels good to contribute with the ones you love. However, you also probably felt a little nervous or even overwhelmed because it was your first time taking on a new and important job - no one wants to mess that up! Nonetheless, messing up is a part of life and just because you make a mistake, it doesn’t mean it’s too late to get back on track. We’ll see this lesson in action in Bill Harley’s charming tale, “Soap Soap” where a young boy is trusted to go to the store to buy soap all by himself, but almost immediately after leaving the house, he forgets what he was supposed to buy.
