Empowering Affirmations:

I release shame placed upon me from the oppressors and I get to know my true history.

I find safety and security in learning my stories.

I will not forget who I am and where I come from.

I fight and seek the true, whole history of my people.

I look at myself through the eyes of my ancestors.

I am all the women before me.

New Years Meditation for 2023. This meditation will help close out 2022 with celebration and open up to 2023 with grace and space. As women, we tend to not share our wins or successes because we don't want to appear that we are bragging about ourselves. Sometimes, we don’t want to appear as being too proud or showing off or we don’t want to reveal things that were perhaps difficult to do. But when we don’t share with others, or ourselves, we fail to recognize ourselves and our hard work. I want you to know that you deserve to be celebrated!  So going into 2023, one of my intentions is to continue to express gratitude but also share my wins. Share the hard things that I have been able to move through.
