The holidays are coming up hard and fast with less than 20 working days left until Christmas!


In this episode Cam and Crowie discuss some of the key areas to watch out for as a business owner around Christmas…

  1. No allocating the right time to the things already in your calendar. Make sure you give yourself a buffer when scheduling electrical work and bring jobs forward when you can!
  2. Having money in the bank, there is less money coming in throughout December and January because of public holidays, school holidays, leave etc but the same amount, if not more, coming out. 
  3. Nail your January start date and have 50-70% of your electrical work booked!
  4. Annual leave! Should you allow negative leave? How does that affect your billable hours? Once they go negative they almost always stay negative. PLUS some people want to work during the holidays so can you make that happen? How does it benefit them and you and how to do it without jeopardising your January. 


    5. Remember, plan, set goals and let’s do 2024 right from the start.
