They are able to track how long people browse their website down to the second. Tracking these statistics allows for experimenting with specific calls to action or promotions that are visible on the website right away so that they may engage potential clients within the first few seconds of being on the website.     In this week’s episode, Mitch sat down with Dave LoSavio, the Vice President of Sales at Packaging Hero. The two talked a lot about what makes for positive client-to-business relationships. Dave has found success in listening to understand rather than listening to respond. As a salesperson, he realizes that sales requires 70 percent listening and 30 percent responding since sales is so based on client needs. Additionally, Dave relies on word of mouth networking as well as authenticity when communicating with his target market, which is people that are looking to improve a process in their packaging line or distribution house.     In this week’s episode, Mitch had the opportunity to get to know more about Gerstad Builders, a family owned home building company that builds in the Chicagoland and Wisconsin areas. According to Robert Gerstad, what makes Gerstad unique is that their homes are built according to their clients’ specifications. There are many base model plans for clients to choose from and then customize to incorporate the exact features they desire at an affordable price. Though Gerstad’s target market is first time home buyers, they tend to bring in a lot of business from second or third time home buyers who have already owned a home and are moving forward knowing exactly what they want or don’t want in their next home. Gerstad Builders have made their business a household name in the McHenry area due to the values of the Gerstads who started the company: they wanted to ensure they always did right by the community, and they certainly have. Additionally, the company has a weekly blog on their website and utilizes software from Zillow to capture 360 tours of their homes! Due to the entrepreneurial spirit of the founders of the company, there is a lot of flexibility to cater to a multitude of different asset classes. Above all, Elliss focuses on the happiness and satisfaction of their tenants: an area where they have seen success. Elliss tries to stay ahead of the curve when it comes to advertising the aesthetic appeal of their spaces with photos on their website. They also have multiple websites: one for each property.     In today’s episode, Mitch sat down with Katie Rohm of Mutual of Omaha Mortgage. Katie is not only well-versed in loan counseling with her clients, but also with the ins and outs of real estate and closing deals because she started her career in loan origination and operations. With her full finance background, she is able to foresee issues clients may not be aware of due to her experience in both the processing and closing sides of a loan. First time home buyers are her most frequent clients, and people whose line of work involves some sort of trade. She relishes the opportunity of being her client’s trusted advisor for a lifetime so that when they are ready to buy their next home, they will call her for assistance.In her self-generated business, Katie has seen marketing success in partnering with real estate agents and keeping track of which clients are referring her to friends and family. She talked about the struggles that inevitably come with starting a new business in which her own name is the brand and how to effectively capture leads. Katie is still looking to incorporate more social media into her marketing and has specific 2020 goals to further her business.     In today’s episode, Mitch got to sit down with Joshua Lederman of McAndrews Chiropractic. Josh has been in the chiropractic business for his entire career, but took over the McAndrews practice in March 2019. They talked about what makes Josh different as a chiropractor. The McKenzie method, which consists of mechanical diagnosis and therapy, and is one of the hallmarks of his practice, along with giving people strategies to manage their symptoms rather than making them dependent on visits with him. Josh’s target market for these methods is men or women with neuromuscular or skeletal symptoms from ages 30-55. Typically, he sees people with lower back and neck pain, or headaches. In order to reach potential clients, Josh utilizes monthly blogs, posted on his WordPress site as well as social media. He has seen success using Facebook, Yelp, and certain technologies that send out texts or emails to patients to ask them to write a review. According to Josh, potential patients like to see that someone had similar symptoms and had a great experience, so Josh tries to hone in on reviews as much as he can. Currently, Andy is looking to expand his market by creating a website that will attract a new clientele: ride-share drivers such as those who work for Uber and Lyft. Since these drivers are out and about more, insurance coverage is different than typical automobile policies.
