In today's episode, I share that after 6 years of navigating the complexities of blended families, I feel I have found my place and grown to be truly grateful for my step-daughters. Through this experience, I have discovered new depths to my heart that I never knew existed until I met these two beautiful girls. 

As I watch them shift from little girls to teenagers, I see them becoming their own humans in the world. I enjoy hanging out with them, chit-chatting and really feel that we can be ourselves with one another. 

It's a tough road blended families and I'm sure glad I didn't give up or give into the stories in my head, because deep down in my heart, I've always known that they are my people.
