Welcome to Stephanie Laynes Institute Beauty Business Podcasts, where we discuss all things beauty business. Stephanie Laynes B.S. L.E. is a 20+ years Licensed Esthetician, Esthetician Business Coach and Esthetic Educator.

Stephanie shares valuable advice for new beauty business owners looking to navigate the challenges of starting and growing a successful beauty business.

One of the main mistakes that new business owners make is not being mindful of their finances. Stephanie recommends creating a detailed budget and financial plan from the very beginning, and being careful about making unnecessary purchases or investments. It's also important to track your expenses and income carefully and regularly review your financial performance.

Another common mistake that new business owners make is not being strategic with their time. Stephanie suggests setting clear goals and priorities, and being mindful of how you allocate your time and resources. It's also a good idea to delegate tasks and responsibilities where possible, and to make sure you're taking care of your own physical and mental health.

Finally, Stephanie advises new business owners to be open to learning from others and seeking out mentors and advisors who can offer guidance and support. It's also important to stay up to date on industry trends and best practices, and to continually seek out opportunities for growth and improvement.

In 2003, she left the corporate world and attained her Esthetics License from Miss Marty's Beauty School in San Francisco, CA.

Over the past 20 years, Stephanie has created, custom formulated and distributed over 30 beauty products in the wholesale salon and spa industry. With her extensive education and experience in the skincare industry, she has a unique approach to creating functional beauty products.

Stephanie has always had a personal passion for beauty products. In her spare time, she is a dance mom to her daughter Selene and enjoys traveling with her husband Rudi around the world.
