or whatever wonderful limiting belief you’ve made up, this one’s for you.

My ex full time job was to fix me to perfection and it drove me to feeling so low about myself. I didn’t want one shard of broken piece left in me, and I made it my business to clean it all up.

Turns out, the real work was in accepting the bottomless pit of brokenness and darkness, acknowledging it, listening to it, understanding why it’s there and learning to coexist with it.
