Wasson has more than 25 years of experience with other industry leaders, including Coca-Cola, DHL Express-USA, YRC Worldwide and Hammacher Schlemmer. He also serves as chairman on the board of directors for the Reusable Packaging Association (RPA), a non-profit trade organization representing and promoting the common and pro-competitive business interests of member suppliers and users of reusable packaging products and services, and fulfilling the promise of a zero-waste, resource-efficient and highly-visible supply chain through reusable packaging. Wasson has previously served the RPA as treasurer-secretary and as chair of the operations and logistics committee. Rich is focused on transforming Cisco’s Reverse Logistics operations, and evolving the way we collaborate with internal and external partners. He’s bringing a data-driven approach, combined with advanced technology tools, in order to optimize the returns process, improve the level of data security, and increase the overall economic benefit. Prior to joining Cisco, Rich developed & lead Verizon’s trade in and monetization strategies for their B2B, retail, indirect & online programs for over 9 years. He set up the infrastructure and began the first two district pilot for their retail trade in program and helped grow the program company wide. After he moved over to run Verizon's reverse logistics and sales team, he developed the direct to consumer grading logic and enabled them to be the first U.S. Wireless carrier to sell product in “Good, Better, & Best condition” on ebay/Amazon. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Reverse Logistics Association.

This episode of Supply Chain Now features Tom Maher. Thomas Maher joined Dell in 1997 and is the Senior Vice President for Global Service Parts. Mr. Maher is responsible for service parts life cycle support in over 100 countries. Mr. Maher’s global service parts responsibilities include: planning, procurement, distribution, returns, repair, inventory management, supplier management and parts disposal. Mr. Maher’s organization supports all Dell hardware service offerings for each of Dell’s Business Units and Lines of Business. The Global Service Parts organization provides support ranging from mail in Depot Repair to 2hr response and Onsite Parts Management. Prior to joining Dell Mr. Maher was with Vanstar where he held various positions in after market service parts support. Mr. Maher is an active member of the Reverse Logistics Association and Council of Supply Chain Professionals. In addition, Mr. Maher holds multiple advisory board appointments including: Reverse Logistics Association, Servigistics Advisory Board, and Executive Board for Arizona State Network for Supply Chain Excellence. Mr. Maher spoken globally on various topics on Inventory Supply Chain Management, and published multiple articles. Mr. Maher holds a B.A. degree from Villanova University.
