Ade is the founder of Nubian Skin. She had the need and saw the gap for lingerie that was a true nude for any skin tone, so she created it. Without fashion experience, Ade started working on her business which gained a ton of buzz. Before she had a product ready she ended up getting 20,000 people on a waitlist.

Ade launched the brand 10 years ago, and in those 10 years has reached some once-in-a-lifetime milestones like dressing Beyonce on tour and being offered a place as a Member of the British Embassy by the queen for her work in fashion! In this episode Ade talks about the missteps Nubian made early on and what she would do differently now, what’s working in marketing right now and now Ade has grown and scaled her team.
