If you want to successfully reach the goals you want to obtain, attach pain to not changing and pleasure to change. This will give you the drive to reach them. When met with that resistance, most people resort back to their old unconscious habits because it is just too painful to continue forward. The more pain you attach to staying in your anxious chaotic state, the more you will push yourself past that pain and towards that ideal person. Then by attaching pleasure to your desired future, such as living more mindfully with your family, the more you will manifest that outcome.
