Erika Wright's journey to heal her codependency  generated some of the most valuable material of her life. Waking up to the unhelpful and destructive patterns of codependency woven throughout family, ancestry, and the culture at large has been transformative for her and sparked a commitment to support others in their process of healing codependency.

I recently had the pleasure of playing a few dates in Japan including at the wonderful Each Story Festival -- also with Peter Broderick (thanks Peter!).  Please enjoy two live recordings of a couple of tracks from my performance.  The piano creaks, a dog barks,  and a gentle rain holds off.

At Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Katherine MacLean conducted legal clinical trials of psilocybin.  She was a lead researcher and session guide on the first study to test the combined effects of high-dose psilocybin, daily meditation training and integration support. Her research on meditation and psilocybin indicates that these practices can promote positive and lasting changes in concentration, emotion regulation, openness, well-being, and prosocial traits.

I'm very proud to share my complete new studio album, "Music For The Deck of the Titanic" with you today.  The process of dreaming up, writing, experimenting, writing more ... and more, mixing, mastering, and then finally sharing the music with you — it has been a journey.  Listen here: https://ffm.to/MFTDOTT

Music is my tether to the unseen, to the numinous, and I use it to cultivate a feeling of connection to the things that are bigger than the 'story of me.'  I hope this new album takes you to places of remembrance, understanding, and solace.

I'm so grateful for the collaborators and musicians who joined me.  My deepest thanks to Marieme (vocals), ANNA (production, synth/beats), Duncan Trussell (voice), Jens Kuross (drums), Owen Hofmann-Smith (bass, cello), Steven Comeau (Atmos), Huntley Miller (mastering), Radha (muse!), Tyler and Vivek, Bright Antenna (label), and everyone else on my team.

If you enjoy this musical journey, please let us and your friends know — tag us on socials or drop us a line.  Grab a first edition vinyl or one of our new Titanic merch items, and get a ticket for a live event (Seattle tonight 11/3! and LA Tues 11/7).

Thank you for being on this journey with me.  We continue to walk our walk, opening our hearts, together.

As I read and hear of the continued tragedies in our world, my heart breaks with the intensity of the suffering. I offer this guided meditation as a humble response and as a gift to help soothe anyone also dealing with powerful emotions from the news and information being internalized.  With thanks and blessings.

With thanks to Andrew of our Patreon Council.  http://patreon.com/eastforest
