On May 1, 2010 Shannan Gilbert was working as an independent escort in the area of Oak Beach, Long Island when she went missing. After leaving a customer's house in a panic, and several frantic phone calls to the police, cops finally showed up in the area around 45 minutes later, with Shannan nowhere to be found. Shannan is thought to be a possible victim of the Long Island Serial Killer, let us know what you think!

Leslie Van Houten was 19 at the time of the crime that she committed under the coercive control of arguably the most infamous cult leader of all time, Charles Manson. She was denied parole over 20 times, and seemingly granted her freedom five times, only to have them reversed by the California governor. This has been over the last 54 years.
