We're very excited to announce our new co-hosts, TSFU researcher and editor, and now host(!), Ryan Pregent, and stand-up comedian and writer, Kristal Adams!

Kristal is a standup comedian and writer raised on the West Coast but now living in NYC. She was recently named one of 7 Black Female Comics to See Before they Blow Up by Madame Noire Magazine. She’s been a Consulting Producer for Legomasters and Netflix’s The Circle. She has appeared in season 2 of Laugh After Dark on Amazon Prime Video, JFL's Straight Up, Stand Up series, Vidcon, SF Sketchfest and won Best of Fest at the 2019 Big Pine Comedy Festival. Paste Magazine had this to say in an article about Kristal's recent comedy album, "Whether describing wombat feces or discussing Ninja Turtles, Adams’ verve and skill shine throughout Ain’t I a Wombat?, making it clear she’s a comedian on the rise."

More than 50 ships and 20 airplanes said to have disappeared in this region, although some sources cite much higher numbers. Ships have been found abandoned for no reason, some transmitted no distress signals before everyone disappeared, some were just never heard from again. In many cases, wreckage has not been found. What the heck is going on here?!

This week Ash and Fallon conclude TSFU Presents: MLM Mayhem on one of the biggies, that recently paid out $12.5 in a class action lawsuit, Herbalife! We know it seems weird to end on "episode 3", but let's summarize who and what we learned about this month:

Herbalife... “Nutrition for your best life”! I feel like "best life" sure gets tossed around a lot in these pyramid scheme slogans, and literally almost no one is living anywhere near their best lives when they're trapped in these awesome multi-level marketing businesses. Although founder Mark Hughes definitely was once he started the company, with no nutritional background whatsoever, in 1980. Hughes expanded rapidly and internationally, particularly into financially vulnerable Latino communities. There's probably an Herbalife club or five in your very city right. now. Ash and Fallon also discuss how Hughes may have learned his MLM skills while he was stuck at a Troubled Teen Industry "residential school". Troubled teen industry victim to MLM/cult leader. And now they're getting sued, yay! This is a weird one.

Cam is talking about Ted Kaczynski and the MKUltra experiments that were done to him at Harvard, his decades long maiming and killing spree, and how he became the infamous American domestic terrorist known as The Unabomber.
