Join me as I chat to Leanne about her transition from Early Years teacher to working for an educational publishing company. After leaving to pursue a Masters and securing some part-time work, lockdown hit and sent Leanne's plans into a spin!
She set to find a job and secured an interesting role as a video content creator for Twinkl and Leanne has been with the company for several years creating and editing videos for YouTube.
Leanne talks about how the flexibility of the role has allowed her to complete her Masters, forge a path in voice over and write and publish her own children's books!
In this episode we also explore:
- How lockdown led her to her current role.
- Finding more energy despite having several jobs.
- The flexible day-to-day of a video content creator.
- Balancing working from home and being part of a supportive team.
- Developing voice-over roles and building a portfolio.
- Writing and publishing her own children's books.
