If you are searching for solutions, more joy and less pain, then this episode is for you! If you are suffering from chronic pain, know someone in pain, or have a loved one in any kind of pain, I encourage you to listen to this episode to gather wisdom, turn pain into purpose, and transform your life. Pain can consume us if we let it. It can disrupt our work, limit out daily activities, interrupt our sleep, and affect our relationships. It can slowly take over our lives, rob us of our joy, zap our energy, and make it seem impossible to do much of anything.
But hope is available and change is possible. With proper treatment and proper support, you can conquer pain and have the life you have always imagined.
There are numerous pain specialists who are dedicated to helping others live a good life and because I live with chronic pain from Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, I have met dozens. But I have never met a pain specialist quite as spectacular as my next guest. Join me in this episode as we talk to Dr. Peter Abaci, the author of the life-changing book, "Take Charge of Your Chronic Pain: The Latest Research, Cutting-Edge Tools, and Alternative Treatments for Feeling Better" and "Conquer Your Chronic Pain: A Life-Changing Drug-Free Approach for Relief, Recovery, and Restoration."
Dr. Abaci is one of the world's leading experts in pain and integrative medicine. He is the Medical Director and co-founder of Bay Area Pain & Wellness Center, a radio host, a regular contributor at WebMD, and honestly, I've never met a doctor quite like him!
He is very committed to transforming pain treatment in America and has truly helped restore the lives of thousands of people that are struggling with chronic pain through his personal and holistic approach.
In this conversation, Dr. Abaci shares how you can conquer and take charge of any chronic pain. He starts by sharing what inspired him to become a pain specialist. He also talks about an expressive way to heal trauma through art.
You can grab a copy of Dr. Peter's book Take Charge of Your Chronic Pain here!

People get lucky and become an "overnight success" but when asked about their journey we realize it was actually a lifetime of failures, hard work, and then making the decision to keep moving forward.
When life knocks us down, we can get up or give up. Rarely have I ever met a strong person with an easy past and this week's guest has to be one of the strongest people I have ever met.
Anthony Trucks shares his story of overcoming obstacles and making the decision to pick himself up again and again. He has experienced over 20 life-shattering "shifts" and they all started as early as 3 years old when he was given away to foster care, endured beatings, starvation, and forms of torture all before the age of 6. He shares his story of loss, divorce, injury, suicidal thoughts and rock bottom before he discovered hope and a burning passion to feel more of every single day.
Through years of research, experimentation, self-reflection, and sometimes by accident he learned how to master the shifts that life throws his way.
Anthony Trucks is a bestselling author, international speaker, a former NFL player, and an American Ninja Warrior, has 10 online brand products, runs live events, featured in Inc. Magazine, a corporate consultant, happily married, a proud daddy, and is living life to the fullest.
Join us and learn about Anthony's story to success and how he can teach you to make success second nature.

Our childhood is undeniably a huge part of who we are, but it doesn't have to dictate who we become in the world.
Today's guest grew up under the shadow of shame, silence, abuse, and neglect. Because she had no one to turn to, she stuffed down all the pain she felt until it was just too heavy to carry. When there is trauma that isn't healed, it affects our relationships, the choices we make, and the way we view the world.
Jen Elizabeth, the author of "Shape Of A Woman," joins us to share her inspiring story of redemption, healing, and recovery from alcoholism and drugs. She talks about the things that shape us, what to do with the pain when it becomes too heavy to bear, and how to heal from all the hurt you've experienced.
Her story is one of miraculous transformation-- from being homeless, addicted to alcohol and in and out of jail, to becoming an amazing wife, mother, bestselling author, and sought after speaker. After turning her life around she travels all over the country to share her story and message of hope, redemption, and healing.
Jen is now on a mission to help and encourage anyone who is struggling, feeling stuck or feeling hopeless to reach out for help.
You don't have to hide your mess, because it is what's going to free you and be your gift to the world!
Make sure you grab a copy of Jen's amazing book and learn how to overcome your addictions and defeat your inner demons. You can purchase the book here!

For those of us who own a pet, we all know the joy that they can bring, especially when we are in the lowest moments of our lives. They are always there to support us and we are their world. Animals have the ability to ease one's emotional wounds if we allow them.
Our guest in this episode is Pamela Robins, the author of Meditating with Animals. Pamela has experienced first hand what pure unconditional love feels like when she was experiencing major hardships in her life.
Pamela is a sound healing and reiki practitioner, a yoga instructor, and fitness enthusiast. She's an animal lover and advocate, as well as an entrepreneur, inspirational guide, teacher and cancer survivor.
She is one of the most resilient people I've met. Not only did she survive cancer, but she also went through a divorce while going through it after her mother passed away.
Pamela will share how she stayed resilient and strong despite the rapid succession of tragedies that happened to her. She also talks about how animals played an important role in her healing and meditation journey. She shares how to create conscious connections with healers and teachers, and how animals have taught her to have compassion, remembrance, and love.
