    Our eighty-forth episode is centered around an interview between The Apple Seed's host Sam Payne and international storyteller Diane Ferlatte. Diane is world-renowned for her very personable storytelling style.  Its been said that she has the ability to make every member of her audience feel like she is speaking with them in their own front room. In the interview Diane discusses how storytelling has shaped her life as an African-american woman and as the mother of an adopted child. She even sang a little for us too.  Along with the interview today's episode contains a few of our favorite stories by Diane, "Number 9 Shoes", "Feed My Cow" and "Next Town".

    This episode spotlights Brazilian storyteller Antonio Rocha.  Antonio has performed his solo shows in 14 different countries - wowing audiences with his unique combination of storytelling and mime. Our episode begins with an interview between Antonio and our host Sam Payne.  In the interview they discuss how to get started in professional storytelling, Antonio's background in miming, South American vs. North American storytelling culture, and what traveling for storytelling has taught Antonio about the United States.  The bulk of the episode is filled with some of our favorite recordings of Antonio, including  "Alazao the Horse that Saved Six Lives", "The Deer and the Jaguar Share a House" and "The Boy and the Firefly."
