Welcome to The Apple Seed! Some time filled with stories for you and your family. Since 2013 we’ve been bringing you tall tales, personal tales, fairy tales, historical tales and more. All kinds of tales, from all kinds of tellers.
A good meal uses a variety of ingredients and flavors to create a unique dish. Stories are much the same. Each plot differs, the characters are full of both virtues and flaws, they can be happy, sad, thoughtful, and anywhere in between. We have a large variety of tales and songs for you today. One is about a diamondback rattlesnake who participated in the Civil War, another details the tale of how a girl found a story to tell to her class. We have several real life stories about dogs from Dan Keding, and a song from John McCutcheon about an outlaw who may have been more good than bad, if you pay attention. You'll hear from Donna Ingham, Bill Harley, Dan Keding, and John McCutcheon, all in today’s episode.
