Taking you back to 11/3/2015 - Being featured this week is the pitmaster of Sweet Smoke Q…long time friend of this show…Jim Elser. At this time of Jim’s life, he had won the WFC BBQ side of things in 2014…so we were talking about his chances of repeating as BBQ champ, if he was going to switch profiles and what products he was thinking about using for the event in an attempt to go back to back…and I won’t spoil it for you. 
Jim has been a tremendous competitor for years, has a great BBQ business and, most recently, fought and is currently winning his own battle with a very serious cancer…so if you don’t know Jim, this is a great segment to get to know him and hear about the WFC…by the way, the WFC is set to start this coming weekend in Indianapolis.
